Patch release that drops native FreeBSD support, adds a new MCP plugin tool, introduces several auto-mode environment variables, and includes refinements to memory handling, focus mode, and permission guidance.

Models & prompts

Prompt updates improve handling of memory citations, focus-mode output, auto-mode classifier behavior, and guidance for denied tool calls. Additional clarifications were added for context management during long sessions and for reporting hook timing data.

Under the hood

New internal feature gates were added for auto-mode notifications, PR-writing guidance, fleet nudges, MCP server surface errors, and OAuth scope fallback handling. One gate (tengu_silk_almanac) was removed. Several new test-oriented and experimental flags were introduced, including CLAUDE_CODE_BASALT_COVE and CLAUDE_CODE_DOWNLOAD_DEADLINE_MS_FOR_TESTING.

Upgrade notes

FreeBSD users should verify their environment and consider Linuxulator before upgrading if they rely on native execution.
