  • Added CODEX_CLOUD_TASKS_FORCE_INTERNALSOCKS5 and CODEX_PERMISSION_PROFILE environment variables for controlling task networking and permission behavior.
  • Introduced multi_agents_v2 tool handler alongside new core modules for model fallback, remote compaction requests, and remote compaction attempts.
  • Added rmcp-client OAuth store locking support.
  • Updated data models, event types, and enum variants to reflect ongoing protocol and payload evolution.
  • Removed several deprecated environment variables and legacy data model types.
