Patch alpha (0.156.0-alpha.2 → 0.156.0-alpha.3) with small internal cleanups and no user-facing feature additions.

Changelog

  • [removed] Dropped the CODEX_MCP_PROTOCOL_VERSION2025 environment variable.
  • [changed] Remote client messaging now uses chunked client-message events instead of a single remote client-message event.
  • [removed] Removed the unused ToolChoice data model and the PostNotification typed payload.

Under the hood

  • Internal enum and handler variants were tightened (hooks, login account params, process identity, dynamic tool output items, and related trace/tool-summary shapes) as part of ongoing protocol and runtime cleanup.
  • Version metadata was bumped to 0.156.0-alpha.3 on the alpha channel.
