Updated the user rules docs to reflect account sync:

  • User rules set in Cursor Settings are stored on your Cursor account and sync across devices when you sign in.
  • User rule files in ~/.cursor/rules (Windows: %USERPROFILE%\.cursor\rules) remain local to the machine and do not sync.
  • Profile exports still omit user and team rules; signing in on a new machine syncs your account user rules.
