API versions

  • Clarified that the Interactions API and its core features are generally available in v1, and added a v1 vs v1beta capability support table (including Function Calling, Structured Output, Thinking/Reasoning, and related features).

Generate content

  • media_resolution examples now use the v1beta API (previously v1alpha), including Gemini 3 and media-resolution guides.

Live API

  • Proactive audio and affective dialogue setup examples now use v1beta (previously v1alpha).
