Stable desktop 0.66.0 (up from 0.63.0) for Grok Bot on macOS and Windows.

Changelog

  • [changed] Desktop app 0.63.0 → 0.66.0 on every shipping stable channel (macOS Apple Silicon and Intel, Windows x64 and ARM64).
  • [new] Voice memos, including playback speed, reconnect, and steer-while-speaking.
  • [new] Bot template onboarding, plus a header share menu for templates.
  • [new] Marketplace and plugin installs, including third-party and Claude Code plugin import, MCP allowlists, multi-account MCP, and a rebuilt MCP settings experience.

Availability

0.66.0 is on stable for:

  • macOS darwin-arm64 and darwin-x64
  • Windows win32-x64-user and win32-arm64-user

All four desktop targets moved together; there is no lag among them. Linux desktop is not in this release. Dogfood is a separate pre-release channel and is not part of this stable cut.

Upgrade notes

The app self-updates. Stay online and you will be offered 0.66.0; quit and relaunch if the prompt does not appear.
