Grok Build Runtime

July 14, 2026 at 3:01 PM UTC

Auth update path now takes a lock on auth.json, emits lock/refresh/OIDC and model-catalog fetch/watcher events, and records richer timing and key-prefix details on success.

Changelog

  • [new] auth.json.lock appears in the home layout while auth is updated
  • [new] auth lock: attempting acquire (timeout=<n>ms) / auth lock: acquired (pid=<n>) events (path, timeout_ms / pid)
  • [new] auth update disk written and auth update enrichment done events (elapsed/key/rt prefixes; lock_wait/total/user/write ms)
  • [new] auth.refresh.success event (expires_at, key_changed, old/new key prefixes)
  • [new] oidc refresh enter, oidc try_refresh_pure enter / succeeded, and oidc refresh attempting idp events (has_current/is_expired/reason; client_id/issuer; expires_at/mono/wall/suspended timings; has_rt)
  • [new] model catalog: fetching / fetch succeeded events (fetch_auth/has_auth; model_count)
  • [new] model catalog: auth refresh watcher triggered / updated catalog events (had_real_catalog, model counts before/after, was_recovery)
