Grok 0.2.6 updates the default model and introduces image paste and drag-and-drop support in the interactive CLI. Documentation for keyboard shortcuts has been expanded to cover the new image handling behavior and platform differences.

  • Image paste and drag-and-drop support, allowing images from the file manager or clipboard to be inserted directly into prompts (with macOS/Linux using Cmd+V/Ctrl+V and Windows using Alt+V for screenshots and copied images).
