Grok 4.7

Grok 4.7 now powers Expert mode on grok.com, and Fast mode for paid subscribers. Announcement: x.ai/news/grok-4-7.

Grok Bot

Grok Bot is on grok.com for SuperGrok Plus and SuperGrok Heavy. Bots live in the sidebar Bots section so threads continue in the browser.

  • Sidebar sections: create, rename, reorder, collapse independently, drag bots between them.
  • Approvals: Always allow / Allow once / Deny; long summaries trim with a full-request toggle.
  • Cursor Project messages show the Cursor mark and a Project badge; names in the exchange dialog open that Project or bot.
  • Polish: voice-call Speed slider, bot settings dialog, file chips in replies.

Chat

  • Multi-select questions: check options and type a custom answer.
  • Share-your-location prompt stays in the thinking section that asked for it (no longer slides as the answer streams).
  • Task SVGs preview inline, same as attached SVGs.
  • Drop a folder on the composer to attach the files inside.
  • Faster recovery from stuck connections / smoother reconnect after a drop.
  • Thinking steps no longer jump when tools start.

Connectors

  • Connector apps render where Grok placed them in the answer, not above it.
  • Multiple connectors collapse to one card: connect some, skip the rest, continue.
  • Expired sign-in offers Reconnect instead of failing.
  • Connector / sign-in / source logos refreshed.

Automations

  • Add Trigger only lists triggers for connectors you can use.

Imagine

  • Cancel an attachment while it is still uploading.
  • Video mode: a single attached image is the first frame, with a slot for a last frame.
  • Smoother Imagine-home scrolling as the composer folds away.
