Shipped updates to ChatGPT Voice models and usage limits (help article):

  • Voice can use GPT-5.6 or GPT-6 Astra when it needs to search or reason on harder questions; model and reasoning effort use the same controls as text chat (availability/limits still plan-dependent).
  • GPT-Live daily limits simplified:
    • Go: up to 3 hours with GPT-Live-1 mini (replaces GPT-Live-1 access)
    • Plus: up to 3 hours with GPT-Live-1
    • Pro ($100/mo): up to 15 hours with GPT-Live-1
    • Pro ($200/mo): unlimited GPT-Live-1
  • Plus/Pro no longer fall back to GPT-Live mini after hitting a Voice limit.
  • Separate Instant/Medium/High Voice intelligence levels are deprecated.
