Developers — Audio (Text to Speech)

Documentation for the Text to Speech API now covers pronunciation replacements via the replace request field:

• Map phrases to spoken substitutions (respellings or IPA) applied before synthesis, without changing the text you send or bill for
• Matching rules, validation behavior, and map limits
• Using IPA in text directly vs. via replace
• WebSocket session configuration (session.update / session.updated) so a replace map applies across utterances
• Related limits and events in streaming/WebSocket tables
• Cross-links to the same capability on Speech to Speech

The Voice inference REST API reference now documents the replace parameter as well.

Build — Skills, plugins, and marketplaces

The skills docs now describe SKILL.md YAML frontmatter fields (name, description, allowed-tools, argument-hint, disable-model-invocation, metadata, paths, user-invocable, when-to-use, and related notes), including which keys Grok accepts but does not apply.
