Release notes (2026-07-09)
OpenAI is retiring the Atlas browser agent on August 9, 2026. Users must manually export bookmarks, cookies, passwords, tabs, and history before that date; Atlas data will not migrate automatically. Browser-based agentic features are moving into ChatGPT and Codex, with improved multi-tab, download, navigation, and login support (desktop app recommended for deeper work).

- android_silent_wingman, ios_silent_wingman, web_silent_wingman, chatgpt-silent-wingman-load-test – disable silent Wingman load-test mode on each platform.
- bidi_load_testing_vm_override, is_in_voice_model_test – turn off bidirectional voice-model load-test overrides.
- vp_request_delay_ms – remove artificial voice-pipeline request delay for testing.

- public_model_slug_override – stop allowing public model slug overrides.
- requires_adult – remove adult-content gating flag.
